AGRIBUSINESS (AGB)

TABAC Consultants possess vast and deep cumulated experience in the agriculture value chain. We offer out of the box solutions to some of the challenges hindering development of this vital sector in Nigeria and Africa at large. Our solutions include introduction of new products and processes to improve farm practice and productivity. We have also developed an innovative and well articulated program to facilitate youth inclusion in the agriculture value chain.

Projects

Food Processing

We are closely associated with Lisabi Mills (Nigeria) Limited (Lisabi Foods), Nigeria’s pioneer food processing company, established in 1939. (1988-date).
We developed micro/small scale food processing units for the Ogun State Government within the Ogun State Employment Generation and Entrepreneurship Project (OGEGEP) scheme. (2006).

Farming Projects

Various farm process and product development projects are ongoing in Ogun State. This includes development of organic fertilizers and other ancillary farm products. We are also promoting deployment of more appropriate tools and equipment for farmers. (2016-date).

Farm Project Linkages

Global Aims, our associate, developed and aired a radio advocacy program “Food Crisis Solutions” to foster development of the agriculture value chain and enlightenment of farmers on linkage opportunities. (2014-2019).
